Information, not advice. This page is general information, not financial, investment, legal, tax, or betting advice. Prediction markets and event contracts carry a real risk of losing money. Outcomes are never certain. Verify the current rules and your own eligibility with the platform and a qualified professional before you act.
Quick answer

The short version.

The Index 100 is an independent reference. The only personal data you give us is what you choose to send through the two forms on this site, the newsletter signup and the contact page. Both post to one form provider that forwards your message to us by email. We use privacy friendly analytics to understand which pages help people. We do not sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. This page was last reviewed on 11 April 2026.

The detail

What we collect and why.

When you subscribe to The Forecast, we collect your email address so we can send the newsletter. When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email, and message you provide so we can reply. These submissions are handled by our form provider and delivered to us by email. We use a single form endpoint for both forms and nothing else, which keeps the flow simple and auditable.

Like most websites, our server keeps standard logs that may include your internet protocol address, browser type, and the pages you request. We may use a privacy minded analytics tool to count visits and see which articles are useful. Where the law requires consent for analytics or similar technologies, we ask for it. You can also set your browser to limit cookies, and the site remains readable without them.

Cookies and analytics

We aim to use as few cookies as possible. Any analytics we run is configured to avoid building advertising profiles of you. We do not sell or share your browsing data with advertisers. If we ever introduce a new measurement tool, we will update this page and the last reviewed date below it.

Third parties

Our form provider processes newsletter and contact submissions on our behalf. Fonts are loaded from a public font service. These providers may receive limited technical data needed to deliver their service. We do not pass your information to platforms we write about, and we hold no affiliate relationship that would let any platform identify you through this site.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from The Forecast at any time using the link in any issue. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by writing to us through the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law, and we will honor valid requests. We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe and contact messages only as long as needed to handle your query.

Children

This site is intended for adults. Prediction markets are restricted to people who are 18+ or the legal age in their region. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has contacted us, write to us and we will delete the information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows or as the law changes. When we do, we will revise the last reviewed date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Compare platforms available to you

This is a reference, not a broker

We do not open accounts or take deposits. When you are ready to compare platforms that are genuinely available where you live, start from the platform and legality guides below.

Browse all platformsCheck legality by placeHow the markets work

Availability as of June 2026. We do not place affiliate links into any region where a platform is not legally available to that reader. Open any account directly on the platform's own site, and only after you have read its rules and confirmed your eligibility.

A note on risk

Trade only money you can afford to lose, never money you have borrowed, and never to chase a loss. A clear regulator does not make a market safe to over trade. You must be 18+ or the legal age in your region, and eligibility can change. If trading stops feeling like a free choice, step back. In the US you can call or text the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline or visit ncpgambling.org for free, confidential support.
